How to fake sleep

What happens when you aren't able to sleep for enough time?

For any reason if you aren't able to sleep for the prescribed amount of time for two days in a row, what usually happens?

Well, you may feel lethargic, inattentive, irritated etc. But most of all you may become  unproductive. One may be able to fight the previous three, but being unproductive is sometimes just not excusable.

According to Michael Breus, PhD ( sleep expert) from Scottsdale, Arizona, you may use the nap-a-latte to feel fresh again.

What is nap-a-latte?

Get a cup of drip coffee with highest caffeine content, cool it down and drink it at one go. Then take a 25 minutes nap. Caffeine takes about that much time to kick in which is enough to feel productive again.
 Hope this helps the next time you have to be productive in spite of cutting back on sleep!!! Let me know how it goes :)

  5. Oh I know what happens if I don't get sleep LOL, it's not pretty! I kinda like this tip though I find caffeine kicks in straight away for me but meh, I'll give anything a go!

  6. I've heard of this for refreshing yourself when you can't get enough sleep, but what if it takes me a long time to fall asleep and the caffeine has already kicked in?

  14. It happens to me during exams period - but there is no need for fake sleep ... you can make breaks for 20 minutes, use it for naps... but turn of everything around you!! sharp 20 minutes. it is enough for brain to rest :)

  22. Great tip. I try to avoid drinking strong coffee as I start shaking from it. I used to be fine and I drank at least 5 cups of fairly strong coffee a day, but I can't do this anymore. I still take naps if I get a chance.
